Besides that all the Ministries and Parliament can be found here. The City; The Hague has 580.000 inhabitants and is size wise the third city in the country. The city is very international, because of all the Embassies and International organizations. The inner city itself is a mixture of modern architecture and classical architecture which gives the city a typical flavor. The city is situated at the seaside and in Scheveningen you will find a sandy beach with a boulevard with lots of possibilities for leisure. Eating fish, raw haring  for instance.  

Royals; The Queen has two palaces in the Hague, one is situated at the Noordeinde she uses it as an office. The other one Huis Ten Bosch is used for housing purposes. Now and then you can see the horses and chariots of the queen practicing in traffic in the city center. On Prinsjesdag the Queen reads the state of the union in full gala which is a big celebration in the Hague.
